Anne Marie was diagnosed at 15 years old with neutropenia after a lengthy illness. Now three years later she is a freshman at Carroll Collage in Helena, MT. We have been blessed that the few neutrophils she has seem to get the job done, when she is sick. She travels to Seattle every year to visit with Specialist at Seattle Children's Hospital, and continue the search for answers. She has had and will continue to have bone marrow biopsies, and each time a little extra is donated to research, in the hope that one day there is a cure. There are many different causes of neutropenia and as we search through the whys and hows, we rely on the research being done right now to find the answers for the future. Not only for ourselves but for everyone.
